I stayed up later then I thought I would formatting the 2nd draft of Caged Dames. Nothing, and I mean nothing is ever ’smooth sailing’ with me when it comes to script formatting. I need an assistant so bad it hurts. Why should I have to worry about things like this? I became fixated on the fact that some of the stage direction was in caps and some wasn’t. Thanks to Brooke it was in the correct space on the page but the inconsistency of the letter casing just happened to drive me crazy at that particular moment and of course I some how erased the header and the margin settings, turning the script into a big poopy mess. I left Brooke a calm message to call me but thank goodness I was able to figure it out on my own, and by midnight I was good to go.

TVLAND Awards- These occurred during the Blog lockdown. Did anybody see them? Why did Dee from What’s Happening! have crutches? The girl couldn’t act but her delivery was dead on. You can’t learn that, you know.I thought Michael from Good Times was dead too. I was glad to see him alive for some strange reason and I thought Thelma looked incredible. But let’s face it- Good Times sucked as a sitcom. Classic sitcom my ass… Esther Rolle and and John Amos knew that and left the damn show. Jimmy Walker looks really creepy now but I did love seeing Florida Evans “DAMN! DAMN! DAMN” scene in reaction to Jame’s ‘I want out my contract’ death. That reminds me. Derek Czaplewski and myself will be presenting our two man tribute Esther Rolle as Florida Evans in the near future.
