Good heavens, what is the world coming to when the normally staid Jeff Committee nominates a MAN playing a WOMAN for a Joseph Jefferson Award??? I’m so happy, shocked, and delighted for my co-star Todd Schaner on his Jeff nomination for the role of Christine Penmark in The Bad Seed-The Musical. Todd really deserves this and I can’t help but think this is for all us who toil away onstage in a wig and heels bringing the true CLASSICS to the stage. Fuck Shakespeare, give me Jacqueline Susann anyday…

Speaking of congratulations, let’s hear for Tommy Ross aka, Ryan Lanning for his Jeff Nomination for Kiss of the Spider Woman. Ryan, is a sweetheart and I couldn’t be happier for him. I can’t believe they didn’t nominate Ed Jones for his turn as Suzanne Somers!
