The world can be so predictable.sometimes. Plastic, prefabricated stars like Beyonce and Ryan Seacrest rule America and the few of us with some taste have to endure being inundated with entertainment that is packaged to appeal to the largest demographic audience possible. But once in a while there’s a glimmer of hope. When The Comeback first aired I was hooked. I knew it wasn’t doing well and although I hoped aganst all hopes that it would succeed I wasn’t really surpised when it was deemed to odd even for HBO. We have come to expect things we like not to be accepted and maybe in the back of our mind that makes us like them even more. Well, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard that Lisa Kudrow was nominated for an Emmy award for best actress in a comedy series. Fucking A!
