I don’t get to watch that much television lately what with Caged Dames opening next week, but when I do I can’t seem to escape this ultra annoying commercial for the Gap. You know the one. It features Audrey Hepburn dancing to AC/DC’s Back in Black, because it’s a commerical for skinny BLACK pants. Yeah, I get it. It’s not that I hate celebrities shilling from beyond the grave. It just depends, Fred Astaire dancing with a vacuum cleaner = bad. Doris Day and Joan Crawford for the phone company= funny. That dance they have Ms. Hepburn doing to an unabashed head-banging, burn out classic is just stupid and wrong. Somebody make it stop!
