My Way of Life
Hope you all had a decent holiday, lovies. Mine was okay. Santa was nice to me and brought me some very cool presents like iPod accessories, a book of Bad Girls, Film Fatales and Sirens a cool purple velourish blazer. My sister Denise and brother in law John gave me an amazing little t-shirt with publicity pictures from Handbag shows and what I think are from my Myspace page. Me and Tippi, Charles and I- with Hell in a Handbag Productions on the back of it. The creators own a shirt shop in Whiting , IN and have been to Handbag shows. They did a terrific job, I was so flattered.
The day after Christmas was another funeral for our family. My other grandmother passed away last Thursday, Dec. 21. She was 90. Just about 2 months after the death of my Nana (my mom’s mother). So my dad had a lot on his mind this Christmas. Grandma Cerda was just about the kindest woman I can think of. As one my cousins stated in her eulogy she always tried to find the good in people and believe me, as a family we all tested her patience, as all families do. I am all out of grandparents.
I am off for the entire week and I’m finding I don’t want to leave the house. I had coffee with my good friend Sean Graney today (he often calls me for advice), and we talked about our respective companies. You know, Artistic Director talk. We plan on having a pajama party with David Zak and Nathan Allen soon. Christopher and I saw Notes on a Scandal, a delightful little dish with Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett. Wonderful dialogue and situations, and yes, Dame Dench kicks ass, as does Ms. Blanchett. 3 Handbags
Much love!
