My goodness…I sent out the E-Blast about our big benefit, A HANDBAG HAPPENING and instead of instant ticket sales got quite a few e-mails from eager actors about auditioning for Reefer Madness-The Musical, within an hour. I had no idea this very funny show had such a rabid following. Reefer Madness is part of a Summer Camp series we’re doing this…summer. We’re choosing 3 outside works that fit our mission statement for a smarter then your average bear staged reading at Mary’s Attic. The other two pieces are pending which is why I didn’t mention them in the e-blast. Any thespians reading this in Chicago should just send their resumes and headshots to info@handbagproductions.org for consideration.
