My Way of Life- Lee Hazlewood RIP 1928-2007
Posted on August 6th, 2007 by David
Pop music legend Lee Hazlewood died Sunday of renal cancer. Lee brought out the very best in Nancy Sinatra and don’t think she doesn’t know it. I have most of the Nancy/Lee collaborations along with his Cowboy and the Lady with Ann-Margret which I admit is an acquired taste. I love these records and Lee Hazlewood was a true original.
Thank you Mr. Hazlewood.

Oh, no! I’m sorry to hear he passed…I loved his songs. He wrote all of Nancy’s really great ones (including “Boots”) and “Some Velvet Morning” is still one of my favorite Nancy duets.
He was one of a kind… truly…
Tonight, I will dress in black and watch my DVD of “Movin’ with Nancy” in tribute.
I’ll just get drunk and listen to “Sugartown” again…
So, just another normal night for you, huh, Aaron?
Not at all, Tim!! How dare you!
some nights I listen to Petula Clark…
LOL, TimmyP- you’re terrible Muriel…
As long as you spice it up, Aaron. I particularlly like her version of “I Know A Place”
I always thought she should be dressed as the devil when she sang that…”then you go downstairs to some tables and chairs!!”
