My Way of Life

There’s so much to obviously comment on like Senator Craig for instance. For anybody living under a rock he’s the closet case that was busted for soliciting sex in a Minneapolis airport a couple of months ago. I say ‘closet case’ because it’s so painfully obvious that he’s lying when he constantly denies that he’s gay that it’s sad and embarrassing. I want to look away from the television set when he’s speaking. I feel uncomfortable for him when I hear his interviews and the audio tape that was released yesterday. What a horrible life he has to lead, and then to take all the internalized self hatred and spew it out on the senate floor with his anti-gay/pro-family legislation votes and views? Pathetic. The sexual urge is a powerful thing and most men can’t conquer it. I’m so glad God decided not to give me a choice. It was pretty obvious I was gay from the get go, and despite the horrible teasing and fights that are customary for any effeminate boy, I never felt bad about the gay thing- just nervous-at first. It’s just a very natural thing for me and I’m grateful it is. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to paint on my eyebrows for my concert tonight at The Note.  You can buy tickets for the show tonight here.
