We are in The Birds zone. Rehearsing at the space and our regular spot. Yesterday we did bird attacks with Matt Hawkins from The House Theatre and I couldn’t believe how winded and sweaty I got. Was it that tiring six years ago? It’s such a different rehearsal process this time around. Tough, but productive. It will be nice to not have to associate the sheer insanity that invaded the original production of The Birds. I believe I was quoted as ‘It was hell’ in the Chicago Reader and I stand by that quote. Like most victims of abuse you move on, go forward but never forget. I’m still waiting for my apology, by the way…
