Argh! I thought Alice Ghostley’s health might not be good since I hadn’t seen her on television since Designing Women. What an immense talent this lady had. She died last Friday. Of course, those of a certain age will mourn the loss of Esmerelda, the bumbling witch on Bewitched and batshit crazy Bernice from Designing Women. Yes, there are people who only know her from Designing Women -if that. Tracy Repep had no idea who she was. I thought that was sad.
