The Birds- Reviews
Many reviews for The Birds came out this week, so I thought it best to post them in one lump sum and add them to this post as they are published. Do reviews, even the unfavorable ones, matter? Many actors and writers don’t read them, or claim they don’t read them. I understand that. Sometimes people write very headscratching reviews that seem to be more about the writer then the show they are reviewing, but sometimes you can learn from a less then favorable review, and I have agreed with some of them in the past.
That being said, the reviews for The Birds rank among the best we have received. Congratulations to the cast and crew who have worked their little beaks off to mount this show. It’s in a shoebox on the lake, and it ain’t easy to turn that into a ‘theater’ on our, or any budget. So here you go, and yes, the blurb about Ed Jones is real…

“claim they don’t read them”
LOL! I don’t have to read them during the run. Right after I remind you I don’t read them and you tell me what they say anyway! Especially if it’s one you disagree with.
Love,
