The Birds in Camille Paglia’s Salon.com column

Camille Paglia, one if the inspirations for our play, The Birds gives us a huge shout-out in her Salon.com column. She has been nothing but supportive from the word go and she certainly has a sense of humor about herself. I wish she could have seen the show but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. I checked the stats on my Flickr page and the viewings for The Birds photos are in the thousands. Yay!

  1. Congrats, that’s great!

  2. Fab-u-lous. Now if she only got the production name right!

  3. Well, You can’t have it all- or can you?

  4. Wish she could of come also, although a November trip to Africa in and a 5-year-old child are excellent excuses for not attending. Completely magnaminous of her to write up something!

And I was so glad the pictures were included, too. Too bad it was on the night Dana Carvey’s Church Lady went on as my understudy.

  5. Merrie, I can’t wait to see your version of the Superior Dance…
