Thursday evening marked the return of my acid reflux attacks. It had been almost a year since the last one. I was on the phone being interviewed by the Chicago Tribune for an article on Bette Davis and Joan Crawford  when, towards the end of the call, I felt the stabbing pain in my stomach. I knew what it was and ended up staying awake until 4:30am. Needless to say I didn’t go to work Friday. Thank goodness I know what to do about it now. I ended up going to rehearsal Saturday morning with an empty stomach and a sinus headache that replaced my stomach pain. I was a bit of a bitch because I just couldn’t concentrate on anything so I will have to bring a case of Pepsi to to the cast and crew. I am happy to report I am much better todday with the exception of another problem that I won’t go into in this forum… No one said being an old Jew was going to be easy.
