Rehearsals are going very well. This is a a real learning experience for me and I have to say it’s probably my biggest challenge as an ‘actor’. Believe it or not my major challenge is being feminine enough for the part. I am told that some of my gestures and movements are too masculine. Stop laughing! It’s quite difficult to keep this cauldron of testosterone known as David harnessed. Funny enough, the actor playing Lance, who is of the hetero persuasion is getting notes that he’s playing scenes too feminine. Cheryl, our director actually tied my hands to my sides Monday night. This was before rehearsal….Ha! Actually, it was an exercise to limit my arm movement. It helped me tremendously but I still think all I need to do is watch this.
