My Way of Life
Damn, it feels good to have a break from Angela Arden yesterday and today. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE playing Angela, but mama was tired. Our opening night went exceedingly well. We were packed to the gills with friends and some fresh new faces and they seemed to love the show without that fake ‘opening night friend laughter for the press’ thing going on. These were real laughs. I know the difference. I have to admit I was surprised when the I got the call from the Jeff committee telling me we had been recommended. You see dear reader, I had donned my sequinned armor and decided not to worry about being recommended after The Birds, but it was a pleasant surprise and the great thing about it (besides being good for the company) is there are just so many reasons the show could have been recommended because everybody involved worked very hard until it was just ’so’. Kudos to our director, Cheryl Snodgrass for keeping us on course! Last night Ed and I had rehearsal for The Joans and we were a bit rusty to say the least.

“a bit rusty”
We didn’t notice a THING! Different, that is…
(We wuv you!)
Is that supposed to be jab at me Mr. Smith?
Perish the thought, Davy Joans!
Actually, it was a pretty good rehearsal considering we haven’t had one in, like, 3 weeks…and we were sans George for the night.
