WNEP Theater is proud to present for your viewing pleasure RAW: The Write Club Sampler. TEN SHORT PLAYS • TEN WRITERS • SIX DIRECTORS • FIFTEEN ACTORS RAW is three evenings of short plays, scenes and monologues written by members of WNEP’s WRITE CLUB, a group of writers that congregate once a month at the Uptown Writer’s Space and lead by WNEP Artistic Director Jen Ellison. Featuring works by Ellison, Cholley Kuhaneck, Merrie Greenfield, Mary Jo Bolduc, Dave Stinton, Bob Fisher, Dave Dastmalchian, Jenny Brennan, Michael Brownlee and Tom Flanigan, RAW is a tapas bar of the unusual theatrical landscape provided by the company behind The Armageddon Radio Hour, Soireé DADA and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, to name a few. RAW will conclude each 90-minute evening with a wine and cheese reception with the playwrights, actors and directors. RAW boasts a cast that includes WNEP veterans (Jim Yeater, Rebecca Langguth, Dave Stinton, Gabe Garza, and Merrie Greenfield) as well as some brand new faces (Jim Crago, Nick Foreman, Dennis Frymire, Kevin Gladish, Krissy Kavanaugh, Taylor Mauch, Christina Thodos, Diane Whatton, and Christina Wollerman), RAW takes you to all-new locations and all-new scenarios. Tuesdays at 8PM - May 13, 20 and 27, 2008 |

Thanks, David!
Couple of things:
It’s Dave Daschmalchian (the WNEP site has it wrong) - he wrote the piece I’m performing.
It’s a scene he was lucky enough to overhear in London while shooting the new Batman movie. (Guess he plays one of Heath Ledger’s henchmen)
If you’re driving:
1. Cuyler goes one-way westbound
2. Cuyler is just off of the Ravenswood branch WEST of the train tracks.
(There are two Ravenswoods, & the East one does NOT go through to Cuyler)
3. There are Cubs games 5/13 and 5/27.

As far as I know, no actual tapas will be served, despite the press release.
Also, there will be wine and (I think) snacks.
