We are seeking a director for the 2nd installment of Summer Camp 2, Marked Down Woman at Mary’s Attic.  The director should be quick, resourceful and have an understanding of parody/camp. This is staged reading. Costumes and blocking but the actors will hold scripts. The stipend is $50.00 and there are between 7-9 rehearsals.

 Marked Down Woman – In the style of Hell in a Handbag’s Caged Dames, Marked Down Woman tells the tale of Mary Strauber, a smart dame and clip joint hostess for Johnny Vanning, the most ruthless gangster in New York . Things seem to be going swell for Mary until her squeaky clean kid sister visits and gets tangled up in the seedy underpinnings of Mary’s secret life at Club Intimate. The DA wants Mary to testify against her gangster boss but nobody has ever done that and lived! Dames, gangsters and murder
