Saturday night we closed HAYWIRE! to a full house and it was a great show. While I am sad to see the show closed I have to say I am ready for it to be over. Playing Miranda Towers was exhausting and for all the cylinders to work properly I had to be 100% well (healthy), which was not always the case between my allergies and my stomach, but hell, we had a great time. I have to say the cast was pretty amazing for this show as it was not an easy beast to tame. It was hard, sweaty, hand blistering, lip cracking, back breaking, ball busting labor! We had concerns with houses like most theater companies did as well, plus were were burdened with the fact that the theater lease ownership switched from the Bailiwick to Theater Wit along with other shitty things I will get into later. Overall, it was a great experience, I guess we have been spoiled because while houses were lower then previous shows, they were not as low as many shows my friends were in, so I can only imagine what those theater companies are going through.
