HIAH is dedicated to the preservation, exploration, and celebration of works ingrained in the realm of popular culture via theatrical productions through parody, music, and homage.

Tim Howard
Tim Howard has been with Handbag since they flipped upside-down onto the Chicago scene with POSEIDON! He had the pleasure of drooling on himself and dying in Ed Jones’s arms every night for almost four months (plus a week in NYC) as Teddy, Nonny’s ill-fated brother. His other favorite Handbag roles include Billy Nolan in Scarrie-The Musical, Chip/Trailer-Trash Barbie in Rudolph ‘03 & ‘04, and the director of the hit shows Judy’s Scary Little Christmas and Rudolph ‘06.

Around Chicago, Tim has appeared in Superman-The Musical at Drury Lane-Oak Brook, Joseph… at Theatre at the Center, Grand Hotel at Drury Lane-Water Tower; Pinafore! at Bailiwick Repertory (Jeff Citation Nominee – Best Musical), and South Pacific and 110 in the Shade at Light Opera Works. He has also worked with The Goodman, Redmoon, Greta Mae, and Theatre Building Chicago. In his spare time, Tim lives with his husband, Tim Piotrowski, and their cats. He also fashions voodoo dolls of the other ensemble members, just in case he needs them someday.
