MARCUS KLEIN

Marcus is thrilled to be part of HIAH! Originally from Kansas City (the Missouri side), he now designs and paints sets throughout Chicago. Outside of Handbag, the companies he’s worked with include Steppenwolf, American Blues, A Red Orchid, Babes With Blades, and Oil Lamp. When he’s not covered in paint and sawdust, he can be found gothing it up and dodging attacks from his cat. Either way, if you see someone in a theatre and think “That downright vampiric child needs sunlight. How did he get in here?” – it’s probably Marcus. He holds a BA in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in Scenic Design from Columbia College Chicago. His portfolio can be found atwww.mkleinscenicdesign.com.
