Come peep through the curtains at our 2024 Handbag Season

CHICAGO (November 8, 2023) – Hell in a Handbag Productions is pleased to present its annual benefit, PEEP SHOW, a peep through the curtains at our 2024 season, on Sunday December 10, 2023 from 11:30am – 3:30pm at Center on Halsted, The Hoover-Leppen Theatre, 3656 N. Halsted Street in Chicago’s Northalsted neighborhood.

Join us as we give you a sneak preview of what we have in store for 2024 … Poor People! The Musical by ensemble member Tyler Anthony Smith and Scary Town by Artistic Director David Cerda.

We will also be celebrating the ensemble with the presentation of the Handbag Hall of Fame Award as voted on by the ensemble. Who will be the recipient this year? Come to the benefit and find out.

We’ll also have a variety of yummy “brunchie” heavy appetizers, a full bar, and our typical raffle and silent auction with THOUSANDS of dollars of prizes!

Season passholders will automatically be upgraded to VIP!

All proceeds benefit Hell in a Handbag Productions, Chicago’s leading camp and parody theater company.

The Annual Hell in a Handbag 2023 Benefit!

Hell in a Handbag Productions is proud to say that we presented Groceryland Food Pantry in Edgewater with a check for $6237.00 for their clients! As many of you know, Handbag's HAMS 4 HAMS campaign collects donations post-show from our audiences during the holidays to help this program. This was our 11th year! Because of YOUR generosity, we are able to help folks in the community get the nutrition and nutritional counseling they need!
